ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Michigan quarterback Wilton Speight remains day-to-day with a shoulder injury, according to head coach Jim Harbaugh, heading into a rivalry game against Ohio State with playoff implications this coming week.Speight did not play for the Wolverines in a 20-10 win over Indiana on Saturday afternoon. He started the first 10 games of the season but injured his non-throwing shoulder in a loss to Iowa on Nov. 12. In the week leading up to Saturdays game, Harbaugh said Speights status was up in the air, and that message didnt change during the coachs postgame comments.Well see, Harbaugh said when asked if Speight will practice at the start of this week. Its day-to-day.Redshirt junior John OKorn replaced Speight in the starting lineup Saturday. He completed seven of his 16 pass attempts for 59 yards and ran for 19 net yards. He scrambled for 30 yards on a third-down play that breathed some life into a stagnant Wolverines offense in the third quarter.Harbaugh said he was pleased with OKorn, especially given the conditions on a windy, snowy evening in Ann Arbor. It was tough conditions to operate, especially in the passing game, Harbaugh said. He did extremely well. Ball security was fantastic all day. He managed the team and did what he needed to do.Michigans offense gained only 110 yards in the first half and failed to convert a third-down attempt until the third quarter. OKorn said the offense didnt get off to a good start, but he didnt think that was due to any rust he had. OKorns last start came as a sophomore at Houston in October 2014. He transferred to Michigan last spring. After the game last Sunday afternoon, OKorn said he knew that he would be the starter for this weekends game. He said he planned to spend the next week preparing as if hell be on the field against the No. 2-ranked Buckeyes in Columbus next Saturday. If (Speight)s ready to go, thats coachs decision, OKorn said. Ill support 100 percent whatever the coaches decide. I know well both be ready to go.Speight dressed in pads for Saturdays game and threw briefly during warm-ups.Both Michigan and Ohio State are likely to remain among the top four teams in the country heading into their season finale against each other. A Michigan win would clinch a trip to the Big Ten title game for the Wolverines.Mike Muscala Thunder Jersey . -- Ryan Getzlaf grabbed the three pucks wrapped in tape and held them up to his chest in the Anaheim Ducks dressing room for a celebration nine seasons in the making. The 25-year-old Robinson and his passenger, 29-year-old Marissa O. Staples, were unhurt. However, police officers had to tell Robinson multiple times that the car was in the pond and convince him to leave, according to the police report. The report also stated that officer M.T. Borgert screened Robinson for impairment and determined that Robinson was not impaired and should not be charged with driving under the influence. In addition, it was written on the police report that alcohol and drug tests were not given. However, Robinson said Thursday he was tested for impairment and he didnt seem pleased with the fact that the report said the police had trouble waking him up and convincing him and his passenger to leave the car.You read what you read, Robinson saidd.dddddddddddd I dont want to go against it. I dont want to say nothing against nobody. I talked to the police already so its something that I dont really too much care about talking about....They questioned me. They did a lot of questions. They did a lot of tests.Robinson said Staples is his cousin and they were driving home after checking to see if an area business was open when the accident occurred.Robinson was not cited at the time. However, Jacksonville Sheriff Mike Williams announced July 6 an investigation into the actions of the responding officers. Robinson was issued a citation for careless driving on July 10. The investigation is ongoing.Robinson said he was surprised to receive the citation, which occurred while he was in London for one week for a three-day football academy put on by the teams United Kingdom branch, but he accepted it and said he made a mistake and will deal with the consequences.I feel blessed, he said. It could have been a situation where I couldnt be talking to yall right now. The situation could have been way worse than that. I could have hurt somebody or killed somebody. Im truly blessed that nothing happened to nobody. I came off [with] no harm, no scratches or nothing. The passenger [wasnt hurt either].I think its one of those things that open your eyes and say youve got to count your blessings and I understand that. ' ' '
